MacIntyre Chocolate Systems is a subsidiary of Low and Duff (Developments) Limited (LADCO) who produce a wide range of machinery for the confectionery, biscuit and ice cream industries throughout the world from their manufacturing base in Arbroath, Scotland. They have built up a worldwide reputation for the design and engineering of a wide range of products that have been tried and tested in a variety of environments in 135 countries worldwide, and have been acclaimed as some of the best chocolate manufacturing equipment in the world market.

MacIntyre have now two sister companies in the chocolate machine manufacturing industry, Petzholdt Heidenauer and Beetz Mixing Technology. The joining of the three companies allows them to become one of the leading forces in the chocolate machine industry.

We have an 800 square metre Research & Development facility, purpose built, so that we have a design capability, a general office, a laboratory, processing facilities for chocolate manufacturing and for small batch production such as one shot moulding, multiple moulding, shell moulding, enrobing and bar forming. The facility also has a storage area and a small engineering facility for prototype building. This facility can handle up to 8 students at any one time from any of our customers in 135 countries worldwide. This facility has been used for tests recently by customers from South Africa, India, Russia, UK, Germany, America and South America. We expect the facility to be used extensively by our clients worldwide in the future.
