Chocolate Lentil Roller Moulding Plant
Modifications
By increasing the diameter of the rollers and increasing
the length of the rollers up to 1200mm wide, in certain applications
we can get an output of 1.5 tonnes per hour.
We manufacture a range of high output lentil plants for
specific applications.
Principal of Operation
The MacIntyre chocolate lentil rolling machine operates on
the principle of rotating two rollers (upon which, the two halves of the required product have been
profiled) against one another, through which
suitably tempered chocolate, or other fat based masses, is
passed to form solid units of the required shape.
hollow rollers are supplied with a cooling medium, circulated
by a specially designed refrigeration system, so as to partly
cool the mass, creating a continuous 'Belt' of shaped units.
The 'Belt' can then be conveyed through the MacIntyre cooling
tunnel for final cooling, and into the MacIntyre rotary finishing
machine, for separation and de-burring.
The rolling machine has been designed so that a change of
product can easily be achieved by replacing and adjusting
a new set of the required rollers in the forming frame.
Cooling tunnel
A multi-tier compact system can be supplied if floor space
is restricted.
Typical shapes are manufactured: Ball, egg, bean, button,
etc. but additional shapes can be made to customers' requirements.
Optional Extras
- The rollers as standard are supplied in stainless steel
construction to have a higher output. We can offer, as an
optional extra, the rollers manufactured in copper and hard
chrome coated.
