Chocolate Pumps and Standard Pipe Fittings
The pump can be used in either direction.
The construction of the pumps are cast iron jacketed body
with impeller and main drive shaft of steel, fitted with interchangeable
liners, cast iron and bronze bearings which are thoroughly
lubricated at all times.
The output figures shown in the table below are based on
a specific gravity 1.25 pumped against a 4 metre head. Motor
speeds on all pumps are supplied at 110rpm. To exceed this
speed could create excessive heat and cause caramelisation,
and the pump would also become less efficient.
