MacIntyre Chocolate Systems is a subsidiary of Low and Duff (Developments) Limited (LADCO). Based in Arbroath, Scotland, MacIntyre Chocolate Systems produce a wide range of machinery for the confectionery, biscuit and ice cream industries throughout the world .They have built up a worldwide reputation for the design and engineering of a wide range of products that have been tested in a variety of environments in 138 countries worldwide, and have been acclaimed as the best chocolate manufacturing equipment in the world market today
The Ladco Group consists of MacIntyre Chocolate Systems, Petzholdt Heidenauer and Beetz Mixing Technology. It has been 4 years since Petzholdt Heidenauer joined the Ladco Group. The merging of these specialists allows the group to offer a complete range of equipment from bean handling right through to the finished chocolate product. The equipment range of MacIntyre, Petzholdt and Beetz complement each other ideally and the accumulated knowledge of these companies is quite unique and highly beneficial for our customers.

Both Petzholdt Heidenauer and Macintyre have been supplying the industry since the mid 1830’s. They supply equipment to 138 countries worldwide, last year completing some of the largest orders placed for chocolate processing equipment, working out of their two centers.
The Scottish centre was completed in 2000 and the third assembly shop was completed in Germany in 2008. These two companies have created a strong design and development team and they manufacture all components within their own organization. They are one of the few companies worldwide that make all the components for their machinery within their own organization. This helps to control costs, on time delivery and the maintenance of their high quality standards required in the world markets today. They now have the capacity to offer quicker deliveries on their products with the availability of utilizing both manufacturing plants.
